The Mp5-A4 was the first AEG I had ever fired. I was surprized when the gun came out of the box to see how big it was. It always seemed so dinky in the pictures of it on the web. Anyway when I put the battery in I took it outside and went to fill the 50 rnd magazine that came with it. I was impressed how easy it was to fill it.
When I had everything ready I noticed how well the gun fit me. I am kida a big guy for a 16 year old but it really fit me well. The grip was big, the weight was good (not to heavy and not to light), and just the plain size of it fit me well.
I switched the gun to semi-auto and fired it a couple of times. The bb's didn't shoot very far and I was disappointed. Then I realized that I had forgot about the Hop-Up adjuster. I pulled the little lever all the way back and fired it. The bb's curved upward a lot. So I put it a tad bit above half way and fired it. It was perfect. It shot about 35-45 yard accurately. I then thought about the full auto option and said to my self awww what the heck, I switched it to full auto and just emptied the clip in about 2.5 seconds. I was surprized how fast it shot the bb's out.
the Mp5-A4 has a very nice build to it. It is very comfortable and easy to carry. The size is perfect and the butt stock on it is very sturdy and comfortable. I would rate the Mp5-A4 (on a scale of 1-10) an 8.5
Size:8.5
Build:9
Comfort:9.5
Accuracy:7.5
ROF(rate of fire):9
Price:8
All in all:8.5 (very nice gun, comfortable, fit, size, a good gun).
Perfect for CQB and close assault woodland battles.
Good for regular woodland battles.
Fair for somewhat distant battles.
Poor for any type of long range battle (unless you get a good upgrade).
